Megan (she/her) graduated in 2023 with her MSW from the University of Denver and currently serves as Program Coordinator for Envision:You, a nonprofit committed to improving behavioral health outcomes and well-being for LGBTQ+ individuals. Megan is also seeking her clinical social work license to deepen her direct, therapeutic care skills. As a social worker and a queer person in recovery, Megan is personally and professionally committed to advocating for equitable access to inclusive behavioral health care. Understanding that policy plays a crucial part in this, she is looking to deepen her familiarity with Colorado’s current landscape and excited to exchange ideas/perspectives with the other committee members. In her free time, Megan enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, Flipper, finding new restaurants/bakeries to try, and cozy game nights in.
