Envision:You is now an initiative of Mental Health Colorado as of April 12. Both organizations share a deep commitment to improving mental health outcomes and fostering a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community. Mental Health Colorado brings extensive experience in statewide advocacy and resource access with a 70-year history, while Envision:You has offered specialized expertise in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ population since its founding in 2018. Mental Health Colorado has entered into similar collaborations with the #CareNotCuffs program, the SAFER Housing initiative, the Wounded Healer Project, and others.
Envision:You seeks to close gaps in behavioral health outcomes for LGBTQ+ individuals through co-created community programming, advocacy engagement, public awareness campaigns, and evidence-based training.
Mental Health Colorado advocates for every Coloradan who experiences a mental health or substance use condition, working to engage policymakers, providers, the public, and the press to promote mental well-being, ensure equitable access to mental health and substance use care, and end discrimination. Their efforts range from the Capitol to the classroom.
