Michael Touff
Michael Touff has been the senior vice president and general counsel of M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (MDC), a Denver-based New York Stock Exchange listed homebuilder, for almost 20 years. MDC builds and sells single family homes throughout the United States. Prior to joining MDC, Mr. Touff practiced law in Denver with Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe and with Holmes & Starr.
Mr. Touff has been a trustee of the Boys and Girls Club Metro Denver since 1980. He has served on the board of a number of community nonprofits including most recently, the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado and the Eleanor Roosevelt Institute for Cancer Research. He serves as both a foundation trustee and member of Rose Community Foundation’s Education Committee.
Mr. Touff is a product of Denver’s public schools. He is a graduate of Harvard College, served in the Peace Corps in Thailand, attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, served in the U.S. Army in Korea and earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
He and his wife Pegi have two adult children, Daniel and Katherine.
