More than a million Coloradans face a mental health or substance use disorder each year, but only half get the care they need. The consequences can be catastrophic: crowded emergency rooms and prison cells, increased unemployment and homelessness, and one of the highest suicide rates in the nation.

Mental Health Colorado President & CEO Andrew Romanoff will present to NAMI High Country Colorado (Lake and Summit Counties) on the state of mental health and what communities can do to take action. He will discuss the next legislative session and Mental Health Colorado’s priorities for improving the prevention and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. This event is open to the public.
