Psychiatric Advance Directives

A psychiatric advance directive (PAD), also referred to as a behavioral health order form, is a legal document that documents a person’s preferences for future mental health treatment, and allows appointment of a health proxy to interpret those preferences during a crisis. Join Mental Health Colorado and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for an informational presentation on this important topic.
