LivWell Enlightened Health donates over $57,000 to Mental Health Colorado

Denver, Colorado (June 3, 2021) – Today, LivWell Enlightened Health announced a $57,000 donation to Mental Health Colorado thanks to the generosity of their customers during the ‘Round-Up for Mental Health’ campaign. The funds will support the nonprofit’s efforts to ensure that resources for mental health are a priority for the state, especially in the wake of the global pandemic. Mental Health Colorado works to create access to housing, health care, and other services so that Coloradans of all ages may experience better health outcomes.

“The need for mental health support has never been greater. From the fear of the pandemic to the isolation of lock downs to the ongoing economic uncertainty, the challenges faced by Coloradans young and old has taken its toll,” said Michael Lord, COO, LivWell Enlightened Health. “Providing support for mental health advocacy is one way we can give back to our communities and we are pleased to donate to Mental Health Colorado.”

Earlier this year, LivWell launched the ‘Round Up for Mental Health’ campaign that allowed customers to round up the cost of their purchase and donate. “An enormous thank you is also owed to our customers for their generosity,” continued Lord.

We work to pass legislation; change practices in the education, health care, and justice systems; and destigmatize seeking mental health care to make healthier, happier humans all over the state.”

According to Lord, one of LivWell’s core values is giving back to the community, “Giving back has been part of the company’s DNA since it was founded in 2009.” Earlier this year, via the ‘Round-Up’ campaign, LivWell’s customers donated $75,000 to the COVID Relief Fund in Colorado.
